Dominik Nitsche, who has once been fourth in the Global Poker Index Ranking, climbed to the 11th position over the GPI Ranking’s latest update. The best live cash of the Germany-born player amounts to $654,797, and his all-time money winnings are estimated to $6,587,651.
The 25-year-old player who currently resides in London, UK, has taken part in a large number of poker tournaments in 2016 to date. The last tournament he has taken part in was the EPT-13-ESPT-7-Barcelona, and more specifically in its €10,300 Buy-in No-Limit Hold’em – High Roller 8 Handed event from August 26th to 28th which took place at Casino Barcelona.
Of course, Nitsche also participated in the 59th No Limit Hold’em Event of the 47th Edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) which took place at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from July 5th to July 8th. He got on the fourth position out of a total of 863 participants and took home a prize of $248,640. Earlier this year, the player also entered the $565 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em Colossus II event of the series in the period from June 2nd to June 7th.
On June 10th he entered the $25,000 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em event in the Aria High Roller 32 and ranked sixth, winning a total of $46,800. At the beginning of June, Dominik Nitsche participated in the $50,000 No Limit Hold’em Super High Roller 9 and finished as a runner up, taking home a massive prize of $629,808, which is almost as much as his biggest live cash winning to date.
The 25-year-old poker pro also entered three events of the EPT-12-FPS-6-Grand Final until the end of April to the beginning of May this year in Monte Carlo. His overall winnings generated in the three events amounted to €28,740, and his best ranking was the eight position in the €2,200 No Limit Hold’em – FPS Highroller #21 at the end of April. In March 2016, Nitsche participated in the World Poker Tour (WPT) Bay 101 Shooting Star Championship, and before that, in February, he took part in four events of the EPT-12-UKIPT-5-Dublin. He got first in the $2,200 Buy-in #23 No Limit Hold’em UKIPT High Roller event on February 13th and 14th and took home the prize of €156,160.
In January 2016, Nitsche also participated in two events of this year’s edition of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship and performed very well, ranking in the top 10 of both events.
